How to break habits and addictions without having to do battle with willpower

How much would you LOVE to break a habit or addiction WITHOUT having to go into battle with it?

To break the addiction to checking your emails, sugar, gaming, drinking too much wine, binge eating, checking facebook, smoking – you name it!?

I’ll be honest here folks, when I first trained as a Psychotherapist I was taught from the school of ‘you have to hunt down the root cause behind why someone has an addiction and destroy all links to it’.

Like Luke Sywalker with his lightsaber I went around severing a persons links to their habits and addictions.

But trying to establish the root cause behind why someone continues to feed a habit or addiction could be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  

I know myself as someone who smoked for donkeys years, trying to get to the root of it with other coaches and therapists often led to feeling even more powerless.

Thank fully I discovered there was a MUCH easier way!

I started to see that I didn’t need to go hunting down every root cause – because there is no root cause!  Yes you read that right, the hunt is over!

You don’t need to understand why you have an addiction or a habit to something in order to stop it.
