Law of Attraction

Law of Attraction

I was sat at a bus stop yesterday pondering on the Law of Attraction.  Specifically I was letting my mind drift back to the times in my life where I have manifested more significant events, when suddenly I realised that I had manifested everyone of the jobs I had held when I worked in Human Resources.

The realisation of this was so great that I nearly missed the bus!  For those of you out there familiar with the Law of Attraction you may say ‘of course you have manifested all of the jobs you have ever held, because our lives are a mirror image of what we create on a vibrational level’.  To which I would agree with you.  Yet in that moment, what became so clear to me was the link between desire and manifestation.

To share one example with you, there was a time I was working in Southampton for a large corporate company.  The company itself were a good company but I was desperately unhappy working there.  I didn’t get on with my boss, the environment was very corporate and no-one seemed authentic.  On top of this my partner lived in Brighton and every weekend I hopped on a train to Brighton to see him.

I remember how I would wander round Brighton thinking how amazing it would be to live there.  How fantastic it would be to go out on a Sunday night in Brighton and just walk home talking in the sea air and the beautiful buildings instead of dragging myself back onto the train.  So strong was my DESIRE to live there that one day I was flicking through an HR magazine and I saw a job for HR Manager of the Grand in Brighton.

I knew there and then that no matter what I HAD to have that job.  So strong was my wanting that the Law of Attraction would have no choice but to give it to me.  Needless to say, I got it and moved to Brighton.

My bus stop moment was beautiful reminder of how when we strongly desire something and have every faith that we will have it, then at the right time, it will come to us.

If you think you are beaten, you are,

If you think you dare not, you don’t,

If you like to win, but you think you can’t,

It is almost certain you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost

Fr out of the world we find,

Success begins with a fellows will –

It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,

You’ve got to think high to rise,

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or the faster man,

But soon or late the man who wins

Is the man who thinks he can!
