Liz Jones diary – read with caution!
Having had a wonderfully busy fun filled weekend, I decided to kick back on Sunday afternoon with the paper. I’m less of a Guardian girl and more of a supplements girl (there are more pictures!) so I picked up The Daily Mail and started flicking through ‘You’. I’m not that familiar with who Liz Jones is and assume Liz Jones diary is a weekly article featured in the back of the supplement.
Settling down to read what I thought would be some witty insight into her life I was quite frankly horrified by what I read. The article started ‘I think I’m having a nervous breakdown’. As I read on Liz detailed how she is unable to eat and how her friend thinks she should take anti depressants. She talked of the struggle she has faced since 2007 and feels she has post traumatic stress syndrome.
At this point I am wondering what the meaning of her article is all about. It seemed less ‘Bridget Jones diary’ and more suicide watch. On and on she went outlining how she can no longer continue this way, unable to sleep or deal with the level of stress in her life.
The article ended with her saying she’s a failure.
Here is a woman who needs me to work my magic if ever I saw a case!
Sure we all face difficult times in our life, but we don’t have to splash it across the Daily Mail Supplement for the world to read! Even I felt depressed after reading that!
So for those of you suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome having read Liz Jones diary in yesterdays Times, here’s is a link to one of my favourite Abraham Hicks meditations called ‘powerful NOW‘ to lift your spirits. And in the words of Abraham….
Wherever you are, is just fine…You can get to wherever you want to be from wherever you are… It’s time to stop measuring where you are in relationship to where anybody else is. The only factor that has anything to do with you is where you are in relationship with where you want to be.
As for Ms Jones, don’t worry I will be putting in a call to offer her my services……..!
